I saw an older woman that looked just like my mom today at OB pier. She met up with a handsome man about the same age as her (it looked like a date, but maybe that's just what I hoped it was). The wind picked up, misting water across their faces; they laughed and the man pointed to the water as if he was poking fun at it's tired attempt to bring down a gorgeously overcast day like this one.
...
I'm probably going to stay in the dark till I'm 30.

While waiting in line at El Zarape for the most delicious veggie burrito of all time, I was slimed upon.
Slimed upon by a rather moist infant and ignored by a neglectful mother.
As she brushed past me without an "excuse me" or even a glance back, she wiped her baby on my fully exposed arm.
It looked like a gigantic slug crawled across me.
Two inches wide and one arm in length, the trail of drool gleamed in the sunlight as small pieces of grass dried onto my skin.
I freaked out of course, informed my lawyer, and am awaiting test results from Kaiser.
EWWWW.
